Now Accepting 2020 Nominations For our Inaugural Breast Cancer Gala
HFPF is accepting nominations for the 2020 HFPF Inaugural Breast Cancer Gala held on October 3, 2020.
If you know an individual who is a breast cancer survivor, caregiver, or current pink warrior in treatment and you think they would make a great role model and inspiration to others diagnosed with breast cancer, nominate them to receive one of our distinguished honors at our Pink Ribbon Pinning Ceremony during the Gala.
Nominees can be submitted for one of the following honors:
Hope Award - This award is for someone who is terminally diagnosed due to metastatic disease and has continually demonstrated faith and hope for cure.
Pink Empowerment Award - This honor is for a survivor who serves as an advocate for breast cancer. This person has demonstrated strength and uses her journey to positively motivate and encourage other warriors to fight for healing and perseverance.
Caregiver Award - this honor is for someone who has gone above and beyond to care for a pink warrior. They have unselfishly given time, moral support and financial resources. They have demonstrated compassion and the upmost care for the overall well-being of the warrior.
Dr. Bonita Parker Warrior Award (Founders Honor) - Like our Founder, this award honors someone who is living with Stage IV breast cancer, possess a renewed sense of self and has used this journey to be an inspiration to others. She is fearless in her transparency and goes above and beyond to evoke positivity in the lives of others.
Send us information about this person including their name, diagnosis and year of diagnosis, personal and/or professional accomplishments, and the things in general that you believe makes them outstanding. Nominees can be anyone that you believe to be a role model for others in our community whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.
Honorees must be available to attend gala on October 3, 2020 from 7-11pm at the Martin's Camelot located in Upper Marlboro, MD.
